    Aweber: The King of Autoresponders & Automated Marketing

    Aweber Communications Inc. is one of the leading companies for developing and managing online opt-in email newsletters, follow-up automation, and email deliverability services.

    Aweber has been in business since 1998. Their founder, Tom Kulzer is a strong proponent of ethical opt-in email marketing and has developed strong policies to eliminate abuse. Aweber produces live video webinair training sessions to educate their client base on the fundamentals of ethical opt-in email marketing.

    Aweber is highly recommended by various marketing companies on the Internet. Jeff Mulligan, the owner of www.mymarketingideas.com gave a stellar recommendation for Aweber. Mulligan states “Aweber is the best solution for internet marketers in terms of features, support and most importantly, deliverability.” Mulligan uses Aweber to ensure deliverability of his emails. This is important because many email services are banned entirely from the major Internet Service Providers such as AOL, Hotmail, and Yahoo. This results in emails never reaching their destination.

    Aweber has full time staff dedicated to managing deliverability and they have key contacts at the major ISPs to ensure that their client’s emails reach their destination. Aweber will monitor your emails from over 100 different email accounts at all the major ISPs and they will inform you if your emails are reaching their destination.

    Aweber has an extensive list of features provided with their service, which includes but is not limited to the following:
    • Unlimited autoresponders and follow-up campaigns;
    • Unlimited message length, unlimited changes, and fully integrated HTML or plain text message capability;
    • Graphical account statistics and reporting with automatic emailing of reports; and
    • An easy web form generator allowing for simple creation of opt-in forms and pop-ups.

    Aweber has a number of economical billing plans to choose from. The monthly service plan is $19.95 per month and the yearly plan is $179.40.

    Aweber is highly recommended by Darren Rowse, the owner of www.problogger.net, a website dedicated to providing bloggers tips on how to make money blogging. Rowse gave an excellent review of Aweber and how he uses its services to send newsletters to his 60,000-customer base. Rowse previously used Zookoda but experienced serious problems with their delivery, which caused him to research alternative email services. During his first test run using Aweber his results were excellent with a significant increase in the number of emails delivered, opened, and clicked on. Rowse mentions that there are a number of free services out there but he realized that if he wanted to take his email newsletters to the next level he would have to pay for it. The extra traffic delivered to his site and the sales from his affiliate program ads are paying for the added cost of Aweber.

    Kagi, an e-commerce solutions website, uses Aweber’s autoresponder feature for obtaining customer feedback at set intervals.

    Aweber is very responsive to customer feedback. Rowse stated that numerous readers were concerned that using Aweber’s blog broadcast option would not be counted in the Feedburner RSS subscriber counter that many bloggers use. As soon as Aweber became aware of this information, they began reporting their numbers to Feedburner.

    Lewis Smile wrote an article on www.squidoo.com heralding the benefits of Aweber. Smile personally uses Aweber for his multi-level marketing autoresponder campaigns. He states that Aweber should be your first choice when starting out in the marketing field. Smile said that Aweber’s customer service is impeccable and they have a very detailed reporting tool that lets you know who is opening your emails and clicking on your links.
